SENIOR ELECTRICAL DRAFTSMAN
Rob started his career with GEC in 1976 as an Apprentice Electrical Fitter & Mechanic working in the Transformer, Motor and Switchgear departments. He took up the role of junior draftsman in 1980 and during his 27 years of service Rob achieved the status of Leading Electrical Design Draughtsman. Rob was responsible for producing detailed Schematics, Terminal Bar Layouts, Cubicle Arrangement drawings and bill of materials for many projects in the large, medium & small power transformer industry. He has extensive experience with Transformer controls such as OLTC, AVR, cooling, monitoring, alarm and tripping circuits. Rob became an independent contractor in 2003 which enabled him to apply his AutoCAD Electrical knowledge to assist numerous customers within a variety of industries.
